Sections. BTW this is an exmaple of H3.

The section are defined by site admin.

Writing Styles

The top left most dropdown selector is critical to getting pages to format correctly. The default style is the Paragragh style - this paragraph is written in the Paragragh style.

Press Enter to start a new line and it will automatically change to paragraph mode, which is what you see in this paragrage right now.

Heading Styles. Btw this is an example of H5

Headings can sized from H1-H6. Think of H1 as the Title. Select H1 to use it. Feel free to jump down sizes to suit your taste. Its best to keep it consistent however. For example, the headings on this page consist of only H1, H3 and H5 variaties.

Additional Styles

The remaining styles include bullet points. Numbered bullet points are best for when the order of instructions is critical. Unnumbered bullet points are best for generral lists and convay that order is less important; they can sometimes even convey a that not all items in the list or mandatory.

How to use numbered lists points in a step by step guide ( is also an example of the style):

  1. Click on the style box
  2. Select Numbered List
  3. Type your content and then press enter to start a new number, and
  4. Press Enter twice once you have finished your list to return to paragraph writing

Here are some reasons why you might choose to use a bullet list. (It is also an example of the bullet list style):

  • Lists where the 'no particular order' sentiment is desire
  • Convey that the order is less important if pertaining to instruction sets
  • Convey that not all elements in the list may be mandatory, desired or relevant to the end user
  • General usage as a preference.

For both bulleted and numbered lists, it is important to follow a consistant convention with regards to punctuation.

Try to remember that you are actually manipulating code. One such way that this can become apparent is that it is not suitable to use the space bar to obtain your desire spacing. The 'robot' will not know the difference between one space and two spaces and it treat multiple spaces as a a single space. Make sure to use the Styles to achieve your desired visual effect.
